Zig Zag Drill
Start in a corner of the court and shuffle diagonally in a defensive stance toward the lane line. Open your hips to change direction, then shuffle along the opposite diagonal. Continue the zigzag pattern to half court or the full length of the court.

Overhead Side Steps
Hold the ball overhead and lower into a defensive stance. Take small lateral steps until your outside foot crosses the lane line. Reverse direction and continue across the lane until your outside foot crosses the opposite lane line.

Backboard Taps
Start beside the rim while remaining in front of the basket. Toss the ball off the backboard, complete an extra jump while the ball is in the air, then catch it and jump again to repeat the sequence: toss, jump, catch, jump.
